Why advertise with Addicted 2 Decorating

A2D is a relatively new website that was started in June of 2008. However, our traffic is increasing rapidly! After only a few months, our traffic now numbers around 16,000 visitors each month, with 55,000 page views. Since our beginning, our Alexa ranking has dropped from over 6 million to a current Alexa ranking of 483,076, and it’s dropping fast! What does that mean? In short, increased traffic!! We’re very excited about how our website has been received, and we continue to strive to bring quality content to our readers so that our traffic will continue to increase and our advertisers will benefit. Who should advertise on Addicted 2 Decorating

Advertising on our website is available to any person or business who offers products or services related to:

home interiors, interior decorating, interior design, art, remodeling, furniture, wall finishes, lighting, landscaping, etc.

If you’re not certain if your business is a good fit, contact us and we’ll let you know what we think! Our main goal is to bring relevant advertisers to our readers.

General Ad Specifications

Ads must follow the following guidelines:

*Ads must be in .jpg, .gif, or animated .gif format. No rapidly-flashing or distracting ads will be accepted, and absolutely no Flash advertisements will be allowed on A2D.

*Content must be approved before it will appear on the A2D site for relevancy and design coherence (it needs to flow with the site).

* Advertisers may choose the pages on which their ads appear, or we can help you choose a relevant page.

* If your preferred ad spot is taken, we will let you know when that spot is available, and you can reserve the spot.

* No ads will be accepted for placement on the A2D blog.

Advertising rates

Ad rates are dependent upon size and placement. See chart below for specific rates. Descriptions of pages are below the chart, as are samples of each ad size. All ad rates are USD per month. All ad sizes are pixels.

Ad rates listed are per page.

*Tier 2 pages are pages that are linked directly from the Home Page. These pages cover general topics such as “Interior decorating styles” and “Decorate by Room”, and they link the many articles on specific topics related to that general topic.

**Tier 3 and Tier 4 pages are the specific articles that are linked from the Tier 2 pages (or Tier 3 pages). Because this is the “meat” of the website that covers very specific topics, advertisers will benefit from highly targeted advertising on these pages.

Price breaks available:

1. Advertisers who purchase more than one ad placement will receive a 10% discount on each ad purchased, regardless of size. Ads do not need to be the same type or size.

2. Advertisers may purchase a 6-month contract* and receive a 10% discount. This discount will be applied after the ad quantity discount mentioned in #1, if applicable.

3. Advertisers may purchase a 12-month contract* and receive a 15% discount. This discount will be applied after the ad quantity discount mentioned in #1, if applicable.

To place an ad, please send the following information, as well as your ad in the specified format, to addicted2decorating@live.com

Please note: If you choose to have your ad appear immediately, the current month's rate will be pro-rated, and this pro-rated month will not count towards a 6- or 12-month contract, if applicable. If you choose to start at the beginning of the month, your ad will appear on our site on the 1st of the next month.

Your e-mail will serve as a binding contract for advertising.

When your ad is approved, it will be added to our site on the date requested, and you will receive an invoice via e-mail. Payments will be made through PayPal, which allows you to pay via credit card, debit card, PayPal, or electronic check.

Subsequent invoices will be e-mailed on or around the 25th of the month for the following month. Payments not received by the 1st of the month will result in removal of ads from our site.

Invoices will not be from Addicted 2 Decorating. Invoices will be sent from Kristi Linauer Interiors, Waco, Texas. Paypal payments will be made to k.l.interiors@hotmail.com.
