Addicts (not so) Anonymous Link Party

Hello, and happy Friday!  It’s that time again to show off what you’ve been working on lately.  First, let’s take a look at some goodies from last week’s link party.

Design, Dining & Diapers shows us how to create unique magnets out of old buttons.  I love the layered effect on some of them!

(Psst…if you’d like to make fabric-covered button magnets, I’ve done those here.)

Sweet Something Design altered a piece of artwork to go with her new color palette in her bedroom.  What a great idea!

I’ve seen lots of no-sew cushions, but never do they look as good as these (almost) no sew box cushions from Sweetwater Style.

This stairway transformation from I Like What I’m Herring is pretty amazing.  The “before” was terrible, and the “during” was even worse.  Looking through the pictures, I wasn’t quite sure she could pull it off in the end, but she did!

Living In The 513 shows us how to transform brass in chrome!  Wow, I didn’t even know that was possible, but this table turned pretty amazing.

Okay, now it’s your turn!

I want to see anything and everything that you’ve made with your own hands—everything from home décor and room makeovers, to recipes, clothing, accessories, etc.  Anything goes.  If you’ve made it, link it up!

(Please link recent projects.  And please still refrain from linking Etsy stores, your giveaways, your link parties, and your general blog URL.)

Ready to link up?  It’s easy!
  1. Add the link to your specific blog post to the link party below (be sure it’s the permalink to a specific post, and not your general blog URL);
  2. Be aware that if you link here, your project may be highlighted here on the A2D blog, the A2D Inspiration files, or the A2D Facebook page (credited and linked to your blog);
  3. Grab the code for the button below and add it to your post so that others can join in the fun (or just add a text link on your post leading back here);
  4. Take a look at other projects linked up here, and be sure to leave comments so they know you’ve visited!!

Alrighty, link ‘em up!

Psst…Want to get sneak peeks and behind the scenes looks at my projects? Come join us on the A2D Facebook Page!

  3. Thank you so much Kristi for mentioning my 'new' chrome table. You should try it as it really wasn't hard & so fun to get a new look. Enjoy your weekend! Karen

  4. Seriously, that brass-to-chrome table has me itching to go to the Goodwill!  Do you think that would work on the ugly brass trim on my fireplace (for which I bought the high-temp black spray paint but STILL haven't gotten around to doing)?  Loved the no-sew Roman shade project, too!

  5. Thanks so much for featuring my cushions…makes me like them even more! Thanks for having these parties!
