On October 10 and 11, Architectural Digest held their first ever Open Audition in New York. This Open Audition was the opportunity for professional designers and non-professionals alike to bring and show off photos of their work for possible future publication in Architectural Digest.
While the photos selected will soon be gracing the pages of Architectural Digest, AD online has given us a bit of a sneak peek with photos of the rooms that were selected as the “audience favorites” from the NY auditions.
The favorite overall design belongs to Stuart Narofsky,
The favorite dining room was designed by Lorena Polon.
The favorite bedroom was designed by Tamara Magel.(In my opinion, they should have taken a
closer look at that bathroom! That looks incredible!)
The favorite kitchen was designed by Steven Morey.
And the favorite living room was designed by Norman McCrary.

Not a fan of the favorite overall design, but I just love the brickwork on the Short Hills house.
The favorite kitchen seems really well done. Favorite bedroom and dining room weren’t anything special (but I agree, that bath needs a closer look), and the favorite living room looks like the waiting area in a wedding boutique.
The wine cellar, on the other hand, is a thing of beauty.
Great post. Thanks for the sneak peek!
