Artist Spotlight:: Jen Starck

When most of us sit down with a stack of cardstock paper and a pair of scissors or an exacto knife, we may set out to do some scrapbooking, make a thank you card, or enjoy a fun art project with our kids. But I would guess that creating fine art with that cardstock paper would never enter our minds. In fact, until two days ago, I never would have believed that cardstock paper could be a medium for any kind of art worth paying money for, or to hang in a prominent place on my wall.

Enter Jen Stark. I came across her work for the first time this past weekend while flipping through magazines at the bookstore. I was so captivated by what I saw in that magazine that I couldn’t wait to get home and review her website. I was certainly NOT disappointed. Take a look for yourself….
