Beth from "The Stories Of A To Z" Shares Her Master Bedroom

Today, I’ve invited Beth from the wonderful blog The Stories of A to Z to share her favorite room in her home with us. The transformation in this room is remarkable, and I love the fact that so much DIY creativity went into this room. So, take it away, Beth…

Hi fellow Addicted 2 Decorating peeps! My name is Beth and I blog over at The Stories of A to Z (soon to be Home Stories A to Z). I’m thrilled that Kristi has asked me to share my favorite room makeover with you. Like many other bloggers, I adore Heather Chadduck, and even though she did this bedroom like 8yrs ago or so, I still adore it! I wanted it, so of course I copied it!

Here’s Heather’s version:

And here is mine:

And here is one of the many “befores” of this room. (I kept trying to make my old room work which was silly.)

And again the after:

So many posts went into the making of this room! I first started by painting the walls Benjamin Moore’s In Your Eyes and then purchased some cabbage rose fabric from Joanne’s and some cheap linens. However, the duvet was an Anthro splurge that I just had to have!

Thanks again Kristi for allowing me to share my master bedroom with you all!  I hope some of you will become Google Reader followers so that you’re sure not to miss out on all I have planned in 2011!

Thank you so much, Beth, for showing us your gorgeous master bedroom!

Frankly, I’m surprised that Beth could choose a favorite room! If you haven’t seen her home tour, you can click here to see the other rooms in her home. I’d love to have brick walls in my home like that. Simply amazing!!

  1. Bedroom is very personal thing. Its should be relaxing, help you to get rested and you should be comfortable enough to see the best dreams. It should reflects the personality of the one who owns the room
