Big Weekend Plans!!

Hello all!  I apologize for standing you up yesterday.  Honestly, it was one of those mornings when I woke up, and thought to myself, "Wow, I have absolutely nothing of value to share today!"  That doesn’t happen often, but on those days, I’d just rather stay silent than add blog clutter just to say I blogged.  Know what I mean?

Well, this weekend I have plans.  BIG plans.  Office plans.  I could very well be biting off way more than I can chew.  This will definitely be the biggest project I’ve taken on to date in my little condo (although I did attempt something almost as big in my bedroom, and I pulled off something like this on a much smaller scale in my breakfast area…hint, hint).

Yes, it’s so big that I can’t even bring myself to say it.  Or to type it.  It’s not that I think I’ll jinx myself.  No, I don’t believe in all of that superstitious nonsense.  I just don’t want to scare myself.  I don’t scare easily, but this could very well do it.

So instead, I’ll just give you a hint…or two.

Do you see a theme?  No, DON’T SAY IT!  But yes, you see it, right?

So, those are my big plans.  We’ll see how it goes!

(By the way, I have no idea where these pictures came from.  I saved these on my computer in my “inspiration file” long before the days of Pinterest.  So if you recognize any of them, please tell me the source so that I can give credit!!  Thanks!)

Oh, and if you want sneak peeks and behind the scenes updates, come follow the A2D facebook Page!  Now that I finally figured out how to upload pictures from my camera to the A2D page (instead of my personal page), I post sneak peek pics quite frequently.  Come join the conversation!

When I scanned the first picture I thought "OMG She's going to make a murphy bed!!!! OMG!" Of course, then I looked at the rest of the pictures, and looked again at the first one and am pretty sure it's not a murphy bed, so I guess it could be GRANDER plans. ;)

ohh. Turquoise – one of my favorite colors. The turquoise, light blue, green, and white-hued bedroom (the one on the second photo) is amazing. It's nice to the eyes and perfect for this summer. How I wish I could design my bedroom just like this one. But what's with the chandelier?

I can't wait to see your built-in cabinet project Kristi. I'm sure it will turn out great, as always. Please post some pictures of it when you're finished. More power and good luck…

I've had the magazine page of the "sailing/ocean" built-ins hanging on the back of my bathroom door for over a year now, but it doesn't have any credits on either side.  (I'm guessing it's Country Living, though).  Can't wait to see the final results!
