I decided to start over with the pillows on my banquette. The other pillows that I made just weren't doing anything for me, and as some of you mentioned, they were just too small. I've mentioned several times that I have a hard time throwing out glass jars. I don't know why, but I always think I can put them to good use, so I hold on to them. I have a cabinet full of everything from big pickle jars to small salsa jars. I finally made some pillows for my banquette. I made a total of four pillows last night, but I'm only certain that I like two of them...these little three-fabric pieced pillows. The space that I left open and tiled in my newly finished bookcase-turned-pantry was left open specifically to house our Berkey water filter. I needed it in a place that didn't take up any of the precious little kitchen countertop space that we have, but that was still easily accessible. That seemed like the perfect solution. But I tried again...this time with spray primer first...and it worked out beautifully.
