John & Alice used to have this outdated brass chandelier in their entryway… Here’s what it looked like up close (and without the blinding lights on)… When they took it down, I asked if I could have the light. Yesterday, I posted an in-progress sneak peek of my DIY coffee table on the A2D Facebook page, and people had some very interesting guesses as to what it was! A coffin? A raised flower bed? Have I just been hiding in a hole somewhere? I have never before heard of leather floors until yesterday, and now I'm certain that I MUST have them!Okay...my tiny little condo probably isn't the place for leather floors, but in my dream home, I'm definitely going to have at least one room with leather floors. A few months back, I wrote a post about the incredible wall panels available through B + N Industries. Well, now they've raised the bar even more. Just take a look at these fabulous new panels they have that are made from reclaimed wood! I just love these. Last Friday was a momentous occasion here in my city of Waco, Texas. The occasion...the grand opening of the new Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce building.Okay, so that in itself probably doesn't sound too exciting.
