Azra Momin
I am an interior designer from India who came to
Canada to broaden her design horizon, but ended up enrolling in
journalism school!
My family wasn’t surprised – learning new things
always excites me. I have degrees in economics and education, and I
have worked as a teacher, book illustrator and copy writer. Before
coming to Canada I worked in an interior design firm in Dubai, with
branches in New Delhi and London. The firm handled international
commercial and residential properties, and I learned voraciously while
there.
Canada has been my home for the last six years, and
I live here with my husband and baby. I have written art and design
related articles for local magazines and am now pursuing a new direction
– painting!
