  1. I love the extra pop given by using the pales of flowers! Stainless buckets are so underutilized in decorating – c’mon people, they aren’t JUST for horse feed! I think this turned out great, and the branches were a perfect choice.

  2. What a simple but great idea. Thanks for sharing

  3. Hmmmm I see herbs planted in those buckets in my mind’s eye…

I LOVE it!! I also pinned it and will be adding your idea to a nice corner of my deck and donning it with some lovely plants.

  7. So very pleased to be featured! This was one of those projects that didn’t take a lot of time, money or equipment yet has a great visual impact. My kind of project. I think the herbs suggestion from Catherine is spot on. This portico is on the northeast corner of the house and the bottom plant gets about 20 minutes of sunshine per day – the rest none – so I stayed with shade loving begonias but maybe outside the dining room door? Thanks for the feature Kristi. I’m off to this week’s link party to see what other people have been up to.

  8. Very simple but effective idea. Now all I need is a lovely front porch, although I think this would look equally as nice as an interior decoration.
