DIY Mid Century Modern Console
Have you ever built a piece of furniture from scratch? I have, but nothing fancy. To be honest, the thought of making drawers intimidates me. But after seeing this amazing made-from-scratch mid century modern console from Killer B. Designs, I’m very tempted to give it a try.
This looks so authentic to me that I was certain that Brooke had found this amazing piece on Craigslist and just refinished it. But no! She and her husband actually built the piece…from scratch…with furniture grade plywood, edge banding…the works! To see more pictures and to read her tips on building your own, visit Killer B. Designs.

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
Oh, wow! Thank you so much for featuring me! I promise, it was a little confusing at first, but after installing the first drawer it was so easy. I’m going to have to use slides from now on! It takes handmade furniture up to a whole new level
Pretty vintage! I want this in my living room!
