  1. I’m actually doing something similar to this with a pair of those ‘generic oak’ bathroom wall cabinets – you know the ones – with two doors and shelves behind and an open shelf area on the bottom – though mine are upside down and that’s the top now. LOL They’re not as deep as the fridge but they’re perfect for my needs.

  2. Wow, I love this idea! Our kitchen isn’t small, but has very little extra storage space (if that makes sense) mostly since it was designed to be very open, having lots of walkways to different parts of the first floor. This would be a great way to get it more organized!

  3. i would try to sell this idea to ikea, many apartments have space beside the refrigerator, but need the storage.

  4. This is such a great idea, I’ve got a similar one installed on my kitchen at the moment, but this would be perfect for other rooms as well such as bedrooms and even playrooms.

  5. I am looking for a can storage unit that goes in the space between the refrigerator and the cabinet that is the height of the refrigerator? Know anyone who makes one?

  6. I would love the instructions for the beside the refrigerator storage unit. My son and his wife have just moved into a small apartment in the city and this is much needed. I knew that I had seen it somewhere but took a while to remember. please send any info. thanks.
