On this beautiful Friday, I thought I would leave you (before the long 3-day weekend) with a bit of eyecandy from The Ritz Paris. This is one of the most spectacular hotels I’ve ever seen, and I think that even those of us who generally wouldn’t be drawn to this particular decorating style can agree that this hotel is truly exquisite.

I’ve seen the Ritz from the outside (one of the tours I took while in Paris started there) but never the inside!

All the rooms are stunning. No detail was overlooked. I love the way the window was treated in the second photograph from the top. Ingenious.
What is not to love about the Ritz in Paris? The rooms are fabulously decorated and the location is superb. Makes me want to go back right now except for the strength of the US$.
