I was just looking at the Southern Accents website, where they have city guides for several southern cities. The guide for San Antonio caught my eye. Matt and I have been wanting to take a weekend trip to San Antonio. It such a beautiful city, and the Riverwalk is so pretty. At night, it’s almost magical.
So after looking at the Southern Accent’s San Antonio guide, I’ve decided that when we do take our trip, I want to stay at the Watermark Hotel, which is right on the Riverwalk. It looks really nice. Of course, I didn’t even look at the rates. That might be a deal-breaker.

Isn’t that pretty? I love this hotel. It looks so classy and sophisticated, yet warm and comfortable at the same time. Hopefully some day soon I’ll get my trip to San Antonio, and my stay at the Watermark Hotel.

That is a beautiful hotel!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen hardwood floor in a guest bedroom of a large hotel. How stunning! Even the less expensive rooms are gorgeous. I love hospitality design!
You know…that didn’t even dawn on me when I saw this picture, but you’re right! I don’t think I’ve ever seen hardwood floors in a hotel room either. It really adds to that warm feel, and makes it feel less like a hotel.
@Rachel and @Kristi, I have seen quite a few in the tropics. They used hardwood floors and I must admit, houses, or places like that looked very warm and cozy.

I couldn't agree more. The Watermark Hotel is one of the hotel that offers luxury and comfort. I would definitely want to visit this place someday!
