I Want To Live Here!

The other day, I was reading the premier issue of Loft magazine, and I saw something that made me so excited! What was it? It was an advertisement for the Istanbul Sapphire! I’m amazed at this building.

The Sapphire, which is a high rise condominium building, is located in the business district of Levent. It is the first building of its kind in Turkey, as it is environmentally friendly and energy efficient, with vertical gardens on every third floor that “preserve the relationship between humans and nature…” The building also features an indoor swimming pool and an indoor golf practice range. Imagine practicing your golf game 163 meters high with a view overlooking the Bosphorus! Now THAT’S living in style!

I lived in Turkey from 2000 to 2002, and during that time, I absolutely fell in love the the country, the people, and specifically, the city of Istanbul. This building combines my two favorite things…Istanbul and high rise condo living. Now I REALLY want to move back there!!
