My Latest Obsession:: Sunburst Mirrors

I’m a little obsessed with sunburst mirrors lately. They’re so eye-catching and sculptural, they make a great addition to any room. Feature one above a headboard, or above a sofa, and it’ll add a touch of class! I also love to see these used in modern and contemporary rooms…possibly painted in a glossy white. (Of course, you’d be crazy to paint any of these, considering the price.)

Here are just a handful of the sunburst mirrors I found at 1st Dibs. I’m always amazed at how many different styles there are!

Sunburst mirrors (clockwise from top left) available from Robert Massello Antiques, Jean-Marc Fray, Antiques on Old Plank Road, Fleur, and Blend Interiors.

Sunburst mirrors (clockwise from top left) available from F.S. Henemader Antiques, Antiques on Old Plank Road, Parc Monceau Fine Antiques & Accessories, and Alhambra Antiques.

Sunburst mirrors (clockwise from top left) available from Flessas Design, Tom Thomas, Flessas Design, Melissa Levinson Antiques, 1st Dibs Paris, and Assemblage.

Sunburst mirrors (clockwise from top left) available from Downtown, Ad Lib Antiques, F.S. Henemader Antiques, Donna Parker Habitat, Ltd. Antiques, Novecento Antiques, and John Salibello Antiques.

Well, are you ready to break out the checkbook? If you’re going to buy one of these, you’ll need a pretty hefty sum in your account to cover the cost! There are definitely some very affordable options out there, but sometimes it’s just fun to dream, isn’t it?
