New Pet Station Color (With Visual Aids This Time!!)
Let me just start by saying…you’re all fired as my advisors. You’re absolutely no help at all. So please clean out your desks, and pick up your final paychecks on your way out the door.
Why am I letting all of you go? Because I asked a very simple question…”What color should I paint the pet station?” And I got about 15 very different suggestions. I wound up more confused than ever!!
Okay, wait. Perhaps I acted too hastily. Please don’t go just yet. Let’s just try this a different way.
My uber-talented mom did her Photoshop magic once again to give us some visual aids in making this ever-so-important decision. She took your suggestions, narrowed them down a bit, and gave us six options to look at. Here goes:
And no matter how much I want a pretty or fun fabric on the cushion, I’m afraid it’s going to stay white. It’s washable. It’s bleachable. It’s a keeper. So about those color options…any thoughts?
Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
Green and white! The first one! It really goes with the room and doesn't distract from it.
Go light. Either the lighter green or the lighter of the browns.
Definitely the green with white interior….the first picture. It brings out the green in your window treatment and gives the room a fun feel. It is already a fun room, but the green adds to it! My second choice would be the wood tone that matches your chairs with a white interior. I don't like the other ones at all.
Just my two cents!
I agree with the others…the green and white looks great in your room. That's the winner!
The first one, hands down!
I'd go with the first green or the 1st brown one.
Green and white, hands down. It's clean and fresh looking. It compliments the colors already in your kitchen, it'll look great.
I say brown and white
I vote for your Mom! Does she do tutorials on how to do magical transformations with Photo Shop? Sigh. There's nothing like a visual! 🙂
Seriously, love the first green & white. I like the orange on the table, too–just right!
Blessings,
Sindy
I like the green and white as it pulls the color from your curtain…my 2nd choice is the black and white…only because I feel everyroom needs a touch of black…:) Good Luck.
The first one, green and white!
Green with yellow!!!!
I like how both of those colors pick up on the other hints of those colors….either that or the green and white…but i like green and yellow the best!

green and white looks great!!
green and white…or maybe even a green and cream??
First one – green and white. I think your advisors have now come up trumps!
If the cushion stays white, the interior stays white. Amen. And I really like the green best.
I like the green and white one!

Absolutely the first one! The green and white. Looks great with the whole room.

Well NOW we're getting somewhere!! 🙂 The green and white seems to be the overwhelming favorite, which just so happens to be my favorite as well. Yay!!
Sindy, my mom used to do photo restorations professionally. She's retired now…but yeah, she's amazing. I'm always amazed at what she can do with photos in Photoshop.
In fact, maybe I don't need to spend the money redecorating my condo after all!! She can just do it for me in Photoshop, and I'll save a bundle of money. Y'all would never know the difference!! 😀
Me too on the green and white. There is no distraction of color, just a very nice flow.
From here on out..give us choices, and see what consensus says.
Glad we can keep our jobs, as I like my little view by the window. 🙂
The first one!
The first one for sure!
Number one – for sure.
The first one! Green with white!
Choice #1
Come now, you don't need to ask…clearly the first one. 🙂
I like the green one with the white inside…it brings out the colors in your window covering and the white ties into the seats…
Yep I agree with everyone else – the first one, or at a pinch the third one. Both tie in really well with your lovely breakfast knook!
Definitely the first one!
green and white goes well, but I also like the black and white if you don’t want to be too matchy-matchy. 🙂 Fun stuff.

I like the first choice – the green and white. The peachy/orange is too distracting.
It looks like you have as many projects going as me. Good luck, can't wait to see the afters. Nothing wrong with a little dumpster diving.
OK, so even tho I am FIRED… I will give you this as my last act as an A2D helper… :o)It seems like the consensus is on the green and white…which I LOVE don't get me wrong… but that black and white just caught my eye…..:o)
I love the black and white… match your chairs~ the room will look awesome!
But I like it red!
