Reader Submission--Old sconce used like a wall hanging...and it works!

Homemade sconce above bed.

I purchased an old brass wall sconce at a garage sale for only 50 cents. I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased an iron wall art. I dry brushed the black iron piece with off white paint to accent and tie into the newly off white painted sconce. I attached the sconce to the iron piece with a nut and washer as you would the sconce to the wall. I wired the sconce as a plug in and cord switch and use it for accent lighting. Simple and fun.
