This past weekend, as I was perusing Gayot.com’s 2008 list of Top 40 Restaurants in the U.S., one in particular caught my eye–L’Espalier in Boston.
Now when it comes to fine dining, I certainly don’t have a sophisticated palette. Speaking strickly of food, I’m generally just as happy with a fast-food burger as I am with a pricey meal (please, my foodie friends…please don’t hate me for saying that!). However, when I do decide to spend money on a fine-dining experience, there’s probably nothing more important to me than the design and decor of the restaurant. Somehow the gorgeous interiors make the food taste even better. Don’t you agree?
That’s why I’m sure that the food at L’Espalier is second to none. How could it be any less when it’s served in a restaurant that looks like this?
