I’m probably the only person in America who doesn’t know about this, BUT just in case there are a few others of you who have been living in a cave, I thought I’d pass it along.
There’s a nifty little program called Spell With Flickr that spells out any word you want with photos from Flickr. And if it uses a picture you don’t like, you can click on that particular letter, and it’ll change it.

Isn’t that fun!? Right off the top of my head, I can imagine using this for fun framed artwork, basket/box labels, month labels for a DIY calendar, name tags for a casual event, decoupage projects, iron on design for a pillow…
What else? I know there are many people out there who are far more creative than I. So what ideas can you think of?
I hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!!

There are people that sell framed letters like this at different art shows and let you create whatever you want with them. I think it's such a great idea!
Come to think of it, I've seen something similar. If I recall, the ones I saw were all black and white photography, and they weren't the actual letter, but images that looked like letters. I really love the colors in the ones created on Flickr!
Cool! I've seen the bland and white ones too. These color ones are awesome, but what about copyright?
Ughh – meant BLACK and white…
I wouldn't imagine you could make and sell anything with these. That would definitely be a copyright violation. But if you just wanted to make something for your own personal use, that's not a copyright violation.
Kristi,
Oooh, this is neat and I guess I'm the second person who didn't know about it. This is very interesting indeed.
Also if you have time please enter my Spring Giveaway. Since the sun is shining I felt like running barefoot and having some fun!
