Traditional Bathroom--What Lighting and Paint Did You Use?

by Stacy
(Liberty, Missouri)

I absolutely love the traditional bathroom that you designed and submitted to Rate My Space. We have lived in our house for six years and our master bath is a mess. I have changed window treatments three times (and currently only have a shade up). It has not been re-painted from the builder paint, etc. I simply cannot decide what I want to do in that room and the rest of our house is very traditional (which I love).

I fell in love with your bathroom and wondered if you could you tell me what paint brand/color you used on the bathroom that you designed and also where you got the light fixtures? We are planning to remodel our bathroom in the next year and I love the wall sconces and chandelier. I also love this website and appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge with those of us who desire to be interior designers!

Answer:

Thanks so much for the compliments on the master bathroom remodel! I loved doing that project, and even though I personally don't love traditional style, I was thrilled with how it turned out.

The wall sconces are Chamonix one-light sconces by Quoizel. You can click here to purchase it. The chandelier is by Minka Lavery (at a terrific price!!), and can be purchased here.

The wall treatment is called Lusterstone, and the color is Champagne. I wrote instructions on the process on the blog. You can click here to view those instructions.

Hope that helps! Happy decorating,
