The Virtual Room (re)Design offered by Kristi Linauer
Interiors is the perfect solution for those who want the help and
guidance of a professional interior decorator, while saving money on the
hourly fees and other costs generally associates with having a
professional decorate your home.
In a nutshell: You fill out our questionnaire, make a quick sketch of
your room's layout, provide photos of your room from every angle, provide any
inspiration photos/magazine pictures that you want to submit, and we'll take
all of that info and develop a complete design plan for your room, which you can
then implement at your own pace.
A Virtual Room (re)Design is a complete decorating plan for one room of
your home. The plan is based on your style and taste, your desired
color palette, and will include the items you want to keep and use in
the room. The proposed plan will include furniture arrangement
plan, paint colors & wall treatments, fabric selections, flooring
options, lighting selections, furniture and accent furniture options,
window treatment designs, and suggestions for artwork and accessories.
Your VR(r)D will consist of 3-7 mood boards, plus any drawings needed to
convey the design plan. Once your VR(r)D is completed, it will be
given its very own page on the A2D website. You will be notified
when it's uploaded. From there, you are free to save the files to
your own computer or print them out. Here is a sample VR(r)D.

You will also be furnished with a list of resources for all of the items
in the plan, as well as some instructions, hints, and suggestions for
any DIY projects required to finish the room. (You'll be able to
indicate your DIY level on the VR(r)D Questionnaire.)
You will receive your completed Virtual Room (re)Design within two (2)
weeks after we've received all of the needed info from you.

The cost of the Virtual Room (re)Design is $250 per room. If your
home has a large, open floorplan with combined areas, i.e., combined
kitchen, breakfast room, living room, please contact Kristi at

is applicable for single rooms only.
After payment is made, you will be directed to the
Virtual Room (re)Design
Questionnaire, where you will tell us about your preferred style, color
palette, budget, etc. You will also need to use our Sketch Your
Room form to draw the
layout of your room (it's really not difficult!), and provide some other
