Weekly Wrapup

the week in review - january 8 to january 14, 2012

Hello all! I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend so far. Last year, I started doing a weekly wrapup post every Friday, and for some reason, I stopped doing it. Well, I’ve decided to bring it back. It’s just a good way to wrap up the week in a nice, neat little package. So here’s what happened here at A2D this past week:

Updated Photo Galleries:

I’ve added new photos to some of the photo galleries, so be sure to check them out!

On A Personal Note:

Matt and I are doing amazingly well on our goal of eating better. We have eaten every single meal at home since the beginning of the year, which is nothing short of miraculous. And speaking of miracles, I haven’t had a Dr. Pepper since December 31st. Dr. Pepper is like heroin to me. I had become so addicted to it that I would go days on end without drinking anything but Dr. Pepper. But…here I am, 14 days into the new year, and I haven’t had even one. And the amazing thing is that I don’t even crave it!

Even in this short amount of time, we’re seeing great improvements in Matt’s health. And that’s in only 14 days! I’m so excited to see what a couple of months will do for him. I’ll definitely keep you posted!

Hey there! Thanks so much for visiting! :-)

I truly appreciate each and every one of you who visit me, read my posts, and leave comments for me. If you have questions, I'll do my very best to answer them. If you're new here, you can click here to read more about me, or you can contact me here.

  1. Thanks for the update Kristi. I’m pulling for you and Matt’s healthy lifestyle and that Matt’s health…as well as yours is benefited by it! Keep up the good work.

  2. Three cheers for getting the Dr. Pepper monkey off your back. Keep up the good work. I know eating better is not easy — especially at first — but the rewards of feeling and looking better are worth it. Besides, you are encouraging the rest of us to take better care of ourselves as well!
