When I Thought I Had an Original Idea

I assure you I thought of this independetly
I created this for the grand total of $6.85. I borrowed the net and the food. The easiest way to do this project is simply to measure the bottom diameter of the bowl, and find the fishbowl with corresponding diameter. That way, you can just plonk the plastic tank down on the base of the gumball machine. Bonus: You still have a functioning gumball machine to use if you get tired of this!
Coincidentally, the top diameter of the bowl was just big enough to accompany the top piece. Sure, it's a bit bloated than the original glass piece, but since when do people know the correct gumball bowl sizes anyway?
I prefer to leave nothing else but the fish in the bowl, because the brain subtly tricks itself into thinking the gumball machine is still active, as the bottom of the mechanism is still visible. I always hear the joke of a fish depositing when a quarter is put in the machine.
