I finally found a solution for the sitting room TV wall that I love. I built some picture ledges and then loaded them with colorful prints that I found from several different Etsy artists. More details on the blog today.

Y’all!! Look what I found! If you saw my post on the blog yesterday, you know I was considering using the big floor tile in the shower but cutting it down into small pieces.

Well, I decided to go to Home Depot for one last look, and they actually have that identical tile already cut into two-inch squares and sold by the square foot!! As many times as I’ve perused the tile aisles in that store, I can’t believe I missed it! It even has the same name, and I still managed to miss it. 😂

I also found a penny tile that coordinates, so I’ll probably be using it as an accent. But it’s only for countertop and wall use, so no penny tile floors. 😕 Oh well. Now I just need to figure out how I want to use it.

I’m posting this again because I added another layer of glass glitter, and I love it even more!! 😍 The second layer toned down the colors of the stripes quite a bit, and doubled the sparkle. It has a very “frosted” look now.

See that plant by the piano? That’s one of three live plants I have in my house. The rest are fake. Frankly, I’m surprised that I’ve been able to keep three plants alive for as long as I have, but three is definitely my limit.

Matt loves to poke fun at me for my inability to keep plants alive. Any time I bring a new plant home, he just laughs because he knows that poor plant had the misfortune of being chosen by me, and its days are now numbered. 😂 AND he also loves to poke fun at me for my fake plants.

Unfortunately, I inadvertently provided him with the perfect setup the other day. Our convo went like this...

Me: Huh, that’s interesting.

Matt: What’s interesting?

Me: Evidently there’s an app I can get for my phone that will allow me to take pictures of my plants, and it’ll identify the plant and tell me if something is wrong with it, like “I’m getting too much water,” or “I need more sunlight”...

Matt: Or “I’m made of plastic...”

😂😂😂

He knows me too well. 😃 We laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes. But he’s probably right to imply that I have no need for such an app. 😃
