It’s The Weekend…Time To Get BUSY!!

I took last weekend off completely, spending most of it right here in my bed in my unfinished bedroom. Well, not this weekend. I have BIG plans this weekend!! I’m going to have to double-time it to make up for lost time.

Here’s the plan:

First, I need to address this grasscloth situation:

Then I need to do put up the rest of the grasscloth around the closet.

Ooohhhhh, the closet!! I’m so excited about working on the closet. Now by “closet”, I’m talking about the old closet. I have big plans. Since I built the two new closets on either side of the bed, I won’t be needing the old closet for hanging storage. We went from 48 inches of hanging space to 120 inches of hanging space. More than double!! Wow!!

So the old closet will be mostly shelving and drawers. I went to Lowe’s and purchased the cheapest drawers I could find at around $37 each. They look like this:

Now I know what you’re thinking. They’re really ugly, right? Well, they won’t be for long!! I have a plan. I have a vision. I seriously can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a closet! Or, well, excited about a closet at all!!
