Origami Flower Table Centerpiece
Have I ever told all of you that I kind of have a thing for paper crafts? It’s true. When I first started blogging, one of my favorite daily reads was Folding Trees. I was so incredibly disappointed when they decided to stop blogging. I’m always amazed at the creative projects people can create just from folding, rolling, and gluing such a humble material.
Case in point…this origami flower table centerpiece from Ashbee Design created using pages from an old book and a tree branch.
I’ve wanted to learn to make those flowers for years now, and have just never taken the time. I can think of so many ways to use them! To see more details of this project, head over to Ashbee Design.
**This project was shared at the Addicts (not so) Anonymous Link Party. Have a project you’d like to share? Come join the party every Friday at 1:00pm!
Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
Kristi, Thanks for the feature on my book page flowers. I find having a small origami project like this ongoing is good for the soul. The rhythmic folding of the parts for the flowers is a relaxing task. And the final result brings me smiles each time I pass the table! Enjoy spring. Marji
