Weekly Wrapup
Hello all! I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend so far. Last year, I started doing a weekly wrapup post every Friday, and for some reason, I stopped doing it. Well, I’ve decided to bring it back. It’s just a good way to wrap up the week in a nice, neat little package. So here’s what happened here at A2D this past week:

On A Personal Note:
Matt and I are doing amazingly well on our goal of eating better. We have eaten every single meal at home since the beginning of the year, which is nothing short of miraculous. And speaking of miracles, I haven’t had a Dr. Pepper since December 31st. Dr. Pepper is like heroin to me. I had become so addicted to it that I would go days on end without drinking anything but Dr. Pepper. But…here I am, 14 days into the new year, and I haven’t had even one. And the amazing thing is that I don’t even crave it!
Even in this short amount of time, we’re seeing great improvements in Matt’s health. And that’s in only 14 days! I’m so excited to see what a couple of months will do for him. I’ll definitely keep you posted!
Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
Thanks for the update Kristi. I’m pulling for you and Matt’s healthy lifestyle and that Matt’s health…as well as yours is benefited by it! Keep up the good work.
Thanks, Jodie! We’re pretty determined to make this work!
Three cheers for getting the Dr. Pepper monkey off your back. Keep up the good work. I know eating better is not easy — especially at first — but the rewards of feeling and looking better are worth it. Besides, you are encouraging the rest of us to take better care of ourselves as well!
So glad you’re sticking to your goals! Wishing you both the best of luck with this quest for better health!
