DIY Projects

DIY projects are a great way to add a personal touch to your home at a reasonable price.  Whether this is your first DIY project, or you're a DIY pro, you're sure to find a project that you enjoy.

All of our projects include a difficulty rating and an approximate cost for materials, so you won't find yourself in over your head.  Use the following rating system to find the project that fits your experience level.

Perfect for the beginner.  If you've never done a DIY project before, this is a perfect place to start.

If you've done at least a few projects to get your feet wet, you're ready for a two-star project.

Do you enjoy do-it-yourself projects regularly and have at least a basic knowledge of power tools?  Then a three-star project is just right for you.

If you feel comfortable using power tools, but don't quite consider yourself a pro just yet, these four-star projects are what you need.

Projects for the DIY pro.  If Home Depot and Lowe's are your favorite stores, and you're more familiar with the tool aisle than the sales people are, then these projects are perfect for you.

So now that you know what you're looking for, let's get started!  Browse the projects by category and see what great ideas you can come up with for your home.

Do you have a great project idea that you think we should feature on our site?  Click here to submit it for review.  If we feature the project, we'll even give you all the credit!!
