I’ve seen some pretty remarkable lighting transformations, but this floor lamp makeover from Matsutake just might take the cake! The “before” and “after” don’t even look like the same lamp, and I might not even believe it had I not seen pictures of the process. And the best part? This transformation was done using…*drum roll*…Coke bottles, spray paint, and duct tape!! I kid you not!

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.

February 22, 2012 at 7:49 amI have a similar kind of floor light, which should need similar kind of makeover. I have wondering what to do with the “empty” pole. Thanks for this!
