Eiffel Tower Dresser

Have you ever seen a beautiful diamond-in-the-rough dresser at a garage sale or thrift store, and you were soooo tempted to purchase it but the peeling veneer stopped you? I have. Peeling veneer intimidates me.

But Jean at Backyard Bungalow didn’t let a little (or a lot of) peeling veneer stop her from picking up a pretty little dresser and turning it into a stunning piece of accent furniture.

I’m glad she didn’t let a little peeling veneer intimidate her!

To see more of this dresser transformation (and how she handled that peeling veneer) head over to Backyard Bungalow.

  1. Hi Kristi,

I’m not sure if you know this, but all of a sudden (like within the last week or so), the RSS feed of your site is now in “summary mode”. I no longer see the full post and the photos inside my RSS reader (Google Reader). I have to actually click on the post title and open it in a new tab/window to see anything more than the first paragraph or so.

I’m not sure if this was intentional or is somehow a side-effect of the anti-graphics poaching mechanism you put in place. I do wish you could figure out how to put it back into full post mode. Kind of defeats the purpose of using an RSS reader to be able to read all your favorite blogs if only the first paragraph appears in the reader.

I do enjoy reading your blog every day!

    1. Hi Justin~
So sorry for the inconvenience! I’ve done that intentionally because I currently have two different blogs scraping my content via my RSS feed and posting all of my blog posts on their own blogs that are filled with pay-per-click advertising. Essentially they’re making easy money off of my work. Until I can get that situation resolved, I’ve truncated my RSS feeds. I hope to have it cleared up soon (DMCA Takedown Notices are being sent) so that things can get back to normal as soon as possible.

  2. Kristi! What a surprise! Thanks for featuring my dresser! I’m not sure why I feel like the saviour of lost-cause furniture for this area, but I do! Thanks again! I really hope you figure out the content thief situation. Some people are just sooo not cool!
