An Amazing and Dramatic Kitchen Makeover
Every once in a while, I come across a room makeover that is so remarkable that it’s hard to beleive that it’s the same room…and even harder to believe that the tranformation didn’t require gutting the entire room and starting over completely. This kitchen makeover from Christina at Remodelando la Casa is definitely that type of makeover.
Here’s how her beautiful kitchen looks now…
Isn’t that gorgeous? And here’s how the kitchen looked before…
Yep, those are the same cabinets!! She just added some MDF and trim to the top to fill in the space above the cabinets, and then painted! New countertops and a beautiful tile backsplash really added to the high end look of this kitchen makeover.

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
Great make over!! I liked it before too, although the new one is fabulous! Thanks for sharing.
I can’t get over how this added so much height to the room! It look very grand! Love it!
I ran across this kitchen several months ago and marveled that she did all of this herself. You two ought to team up.
Its very nice. However I really liked the kitchen before also. If I had a kitchen that looked like the before, I really dont think I would have done anything to change it. It is a bit more updated now.
I love that trick of adding MDF and trim. It is something everyone who has all that space above their cupboards should do. Makes all the difference. And yes, that is an absolutely amazing makeover. Thanks for sharing!
