I have a mental list of certain items I would absolute LOVE to happen across in a flea market, and that I would never, ever, ever pass up. One of them is an old wooden factory cart.
Suzanne came across hers in an antique shop. Lucky her! When she found it, it looked like this…
Talk about a diamond in the rough! But after Suzanne got her hands on it, it looked like this…
It was definitely a case of “it has to get worse before it gets better”. But when all was said and done, she had a gorgeous coffee table for her home.
Pretty amazing, right?! You can see more pictures (before AND after) on Suzanne’s blog, Pieced Pastimes.
Do you have a piece of furniture that you’ve transformed with paint, fabric, paper, etc.? Want to share it on A2D? Send me your before and after pics! [email protected]

January 11, 2011 at 2:41 pmI love that one…I am on the hunt for a really large diameter square basket to put wheels on and use as a coffee table…I will find it as soon as I give in and buy something else!

January 11, 2011 at 7:24 pmDifferent but Amazing! I have never seen anything like such a cart being converted in a coffee table, but I really like the idea.
The last image shows a little bit of the room and how well this table fits with the rustic design of the room.
