Concrete Birdbath Updated With Mosaic Tile

This is also a great way to add some beautiful, vibrant colors to your yard. And it’s quite an upgrade from the way this birdbath started out…

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
Kristi- thanks so much for sharing the birdbath. Is’nt awesome what a little paint and broken plates can do to change a look.

What a fun way to enhance a bird bath.
Thanks Kristi & Laura!
If I was a bird I’d be bathing in style!

SUCH a pretty update/upgrade. Love the vibrant blue =)
Great project, Laura!
I love a good tutorial, full of helpful hints learned the hard way, by doing it, paying attention, taking notes and passing along the directions. A good tute is not easy to do. Thanks for sharing this one, Kristi, and Laura.
What a cute weekend project! My garden is in need of a refresh so bad. I’ve been working on sprucing up the planters but the birdbath could use a little TLC as well. I would never had thought to refinish and tile it to add some serious wow. Thanks!
