I just love the warm color and texture that it adds to a room, and the best part is that you can usually find some at no cost in the form of shipping palettes. There are a million things you can do with them, including using the wood as a “canvas” for wall art. Tara from Tara Being Tara demonstrates how simple it is to make inexpensive artwork. I’ve seen several DIY variations of the inspiration World Market artwork, all of them slightly different, and I like all of them! There’s just something about the simplicity of the colorful flowers that appeals to me.

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
