New Photos Of My Completely Finished Studio (With The Newly Finished Bathroom!)
Good morning, y’all! This is a crazy week (as I mentioned last Thursday), and I wasn’t sure if I’d even be able to show up at all this week. But I just happened to get my studio completely cleaned and snap some new pictures of the whole finished studio that includes the newly finished studio bathroom. So I wanted to give y’all a new “tour” of the studio that includes the bathroom. All of these new pictures focus around the bathroom — the view from the rest of the studio into the bathroom and the view from the bathroom to the rest of the room. So if you want to see more detailed photos of the actual studio, you can see those here.
I don’t really have a lot of commentary to add to these photos except to say that I absolutely love sitting at my desk each morning and seeing the whole view of every color-filled wall of this room. Y’all know how much I love color, so starting my day being surrounded by this much color and pattern makes for the perfect start of each day for me. And now that the bathroom is finished, and I can see a glimpse into that room from my desk as well, it’s like another treat for my color-loving eyes when I sit at my desk and look around the room.
So that pretty much wraps up my commentary on this whole area of our house. I’ll just let you scroll through the pictures and see it for yourself.

I do have something to say about this part of the room. As you can see, Matt’s Theracycle and my treadmill are kind of mucking up the view of this wall in my studio. I do have plans to clear out one side of the sunroom so that we can use that room as our temporary home gym. I’ll work on that later this year, and then I can move these things out and reclaim that space in my studio. But until then, I just have to live with this arrangement.

It feels amazing to finally have my whole studio finished and to have a usable bathroom again! Of all the rooms in our house, my studio (including the bathroom) is the most “me” of them all because I was able to do whatever I wanted to in this area without any concern for whether or not Matt would like it. So if you want to know what our whole house might look like if I weren’t married to Matt, my studio is a pretty good indication. Perhaps it’s a good thing that I’m married to Matt so that I’m forced to moderate a bit in the rest of the house. 😀
Again, if you want to see more details of the actual studio, you can find those pictures here. And you can click here to see more pictures of just the newly finished bathroom.
Alright, back to my crazy week. I probably won’t be here tomorrow, and there’s a 50/50 chance that I might not be here Friday, either. Once we get past this week, normal life will resume around here for us. But if I’m not here the rest of the week, just know that we’re fine. Matt is in good health and doing really well lately, so if I’m not here, there’s no need to worry about him (or me).

Thanks for giving us a heads up so we don’t worry. And the bathroom turned out absolutly gorgeous. It looks so good with the rest of the space too. Well done!!!
The whole studio is so beautiful!
Absolutely Beautiful Space. Your eye for color is impeccable!!
It is so beautiful! I am amazed every time at how harmonious your rooms turn out – during the process when you show us what you’re considering, I can never envision how the different style and color elements will come together but somehow they always do. I’m pretty much of the opinion that this ability is something you either have or you don’t (I don’t!) but maybe you would consider doing a post where you walk us through how to choose color and pattern in a way that works? I enjoy color but I’ve made so many choices that don’t work that I’ve become afraid to try!
Did I miss the picture of how you finished out that outlet sitting in the middle of the trim?
I’m wondering the same thing…I’m anxious to see what you came up with, since I have a similar situation. It can’t really be considered “completely finished” without that being done, right? 😉
I commented the same thing last week along with several other people but now most of those comments are gone 🤔
The comments are still there. 🙂 I don’t delete comments (except for spam that sneaks through my spam filter). I just keep forgetting to take a picture of the outlet, so I still don’t have one to share.
Looks wonderful, colorful and YOU! Enjoy every minute you have out there! I’m glad all is fine…just busy, busy. I think you should make a week a month…off – just to rest, regroup, do some personal things, and then get back to it with renewed enthusiasm. You work harder than anyone I know. Love watching all you do. Looking forward to some craft work soon.
SO happy for you and how this all turned out. Beautiful.
Awww Kristi! I looooove this for you! It looks amazing! You did a wonderful job. Looking forward to journeying through your next project 😀
I am a neutral gal and love that I am that way, but I live vicariously through you with your color! It all looks so good! Love everything about it. You always nail it!
This is awesome! LOVE the color and can see how it inspires you. Well done! I am looking around my studio now, wondering what I can do for more color!
You are so incredibly talented! I admire your creative design and your building skills! I hope you feel very proud of all you have done – I feel happy just looking at the inspiration. Thank you for sharing it all with us.
Kristi,
I don’t think I’ve seen anything as beautiful as these these spaces. I love everything about them. You are getting a standing “O” with a slow clap from me!
Looks amazing as always. I love all that color. What great spaces you have.
Have a great rest of the week, Happy Easter!
Cheers to you, Matt and the Fur Babies!
Beautiful! I looooooove all the color! These rooms would inspire me every single day 😍
It looks fantastic! So bright and cheerful and tasteful. Everything came together so well! I love it!
All I can say is WOW!!! I wish I had the talent you have in one little finger.
The colors flow nicely from one space to the next. Your studio is a really good size and the two pieces of exercise equipment don’t seem to take up too much space. I wouldn’t be concerned about them being in there. Many people have multi-use spaces in their homes.
Gorgeous!!! I too…love colour!! I don’t possess your talents or building skills…but thoroughly enjoy watching your rooms come to life!
Well done.
Fabuloso! I LOVE it all!! You’re amazing in what you do!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL ‼️
A+++++++++
So happy for you!
This is absolutely beautiful! I hope you give yourself a pat on the back everyday for the great job you’ve done!
Looks so complete and beautiful.
Everything is absolutely gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous…love all the color. 😊🌺💜
So colorful and pretty and a reminder for me to get a move on and finish up some house projects of my own.
Looking at these photos is just an amazing experience. Nearly EVERYTHING I see in your studio and studio bathroom has been touched with your hands. From the painted floor, to your desk, desk chair, cabinets, wallpaper, hanging lamp, work tables, resin wall hanging, painted storage cabinet, all the lighting, painted walls in the bathroom, they all are products of your hard work. A. MAZ. ING. You DESERVE to sit there and take pleasure in ALL the things. ENJOY!
Those bathroom walls look marvelous, especially looking in from your studio! That is the prettiest design in there, it looks so beautiful! I know it was a pain in the rump to get there, but from mock-up to actual — just wow! You are so creative!
The very first picture, the view into the bathroom and of the back entry area with the bubble chandelier and gorgeous curtains is one of the prettiest spaces I have ever seen in any home. Bravo to you! Total Perfection
Just WOW! This studio space and powder room are gorgeous. Everything ties together beautifully. Not everyone would be open to all the color and patterns, but this is exceptional. Your vision coming to light must be so gratifying. Truly a beautiful space that shows the rest of us how doing the unexpected is totally worth it. Bravo!!
The paragraph about being married to Matt says “if you want to know what it would look like if I WERE married to Matt” but I think you meant “weren’t.” I had to read it twice to see if that was what you meant to say! LOL!
Unbelievable! So gorgeous.
Everything ties together so beautifully! Just wondering about the floor in the bathroom…I don’t remember what you used. Is it painted? If so, could you continue the checkerboard pattern into the bathroom also?
It is painted. I could do the checkerboard pattern in there, but I probably won’t.
I’m a little behind – I’m just catching up today. :/ But, your new guest bathroom is fabulous!! And, the painting over the toilet is perfection with your walls!! I loved every single picture in this post. Yay for you!! Just Beautiful!! Enjoy!! 🙂
