A Look Back:: Favorite D.I.Y. Projects of 2009
This year has been a little slow, as far as getting projects finished around the condo, so calling this post favorite projects of 2009 may be a bit of a stretch. I should just call it PROJECTS of 2009. But I did want to take a quick look back, because even though I didn’t do many, I’m really quite fond of the ones I finished.
My absolute favorite project of 2009 would have to be the Pet Station. I really love the way this turned out–and all from a piece of furniture I was ready to throw out.
I also really like my “new” chest-of-drawers turned Network Server Station (can you tell I like the word “station”?) It’s so nice to now have all of that computer stuff stored away, out of sight.
Next up is my Patchwork Table–my first attempt at using Mod Podge. I’ve since become quite fond of Mod Podge!
Now if I had called this post “Favorite Projects STARTED in 2009″, now THERE would be a long post. I look around here and get overwhelmed at the number of projects I’ve started and haven’t completed.
I’m fully expecting 2010 to be different from 2009–much more productive. It will be “The Year of Completion”–the year of many, many completed projects, and hopefully, the year of a completed Tiny Little Condo.

I love the idea of a pet station. I'm definitely copying both that and the patchwork table, which is adorable. Now if only I could find the time, I'd get started right away!
I've never seen a pet station, or at least one quite like that. Certainly a good idea. And a great way to re-use/re-purpose furniture.
