Custom window treatments can be one of the most expensive things in a room. I’ve had clients easily spend several thousands of dollars on windows in just one room. So if you know how to make your own, you can save a bundle of cash. To save even more money, you can get creative with the kind of fabric you use, and painters drop cloths are perfect when you need yards of fabric for a little bit of cash.
Linda at It All Started With Paint wasn’t satisfied with plain drop cloth curtains, so she made drop cloth curtains with a contrasting fabric and ribbon detail for a completely custom look.

April 5, 2012 at 6:13 pmI just LOVE everything about this room! Except there is one problem…it’s making me want to drop all of my projects, run upstairs and start painting my son’s room and make awesome custom drapes out of drop cloth. 🙂
