Resin Petri Sale Preview

I’ve had a few people ask me if and when I’m going to sell the resin and alcohol ink petries. Well, I happen to have about 40 of them on hand, so I’m going to have a resin petri sale very soon! They all need some sanding and a second coat of resin to make them perfect and shiny, so I’ll be aiming for either Thanksgiving Day or the weekend after Thanksgiving (perhaps Small Business Saturday) to have them all ready to go.

But in the meantime, I thought I’d give y’all a preview of what I have. I have everything from bright colors to earth tones. They’ll come with frames for display, but I’m hoping to design them so that they attach with rare earth magnets so that they can be taken out of the frame, admired up close, and then easily placed back into the frame.

Anywhere, here’s what I have…

That’s the overview of the majority of the petries I have on hand, but I do have a few that didn’t make it into those pictures.

And here’s a preview of an unfinished frame that has been sanded but still needs to be primed, painted and clear coated.

I’ll be listing these on Etsy to make purchasing and payment easy, and I’ll be sure to announce a day or two in advance so that you can be on the lookout if you have your eye on a particular one.

And if you’re interested in one, but don’t see colors that will work for you, just let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

  1. I go to the Charlotte NC Christmas Show every year, I just wish they had a vendor selling these. These are gorgeous and will go very quickly.

  2. I have trypophobia so most of these creep me out (I know… it’s ridiculous and irrational) but I think these would make INCREDIBLE tiebacks like the Ballard’s agate tiebacks. I found a girl doing a tutorial online for how to make your own with agate coasters, and you could use the exact same procedure for these.

  3. Looks like they would make lovely paperweights for a desk. I might buy one without the frame for a present for hubby.
