This was the goal…
and after one entire afternoon, this was the progress…
Let’s look at it like this so that it’ll look like more…
But however you look at it, that’s about enough little branch pieces to cover a 2-square-foot area. That not even enough for one frame, much less three.
It’s time for a “Plan B”. I’m sure these will make an appearance somewhere, but they probably won’t be on the bathroom mirrors.
This weekend I’ll be working hard on my bedroom. And I really, truly promise to show you my progress on Monday. I bought my headboard fabric on Wednesday, and Matt really wants me to do the headboard first. He makes a strong argument. You see, I already have the grasscloth up on the headboard wall, and he’s afraid that we’ll ruin it by leaning against it. That makes sense, but I really want to build the closets first. We’ll have to wait and see who wins on that one.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
I hope you’ll join me on my DIY and decorating journey! If you want to follow my projects and progress, you can subscribe below and have each new post delivered to your email inbox. That way you’ll never miss a thing!

October 15, 2010 at 2:32 pmThat mirror is going to be stunning– I know those little pieces can be daunting! I made a wine-cork tray–similar in construct not the same–but I was astonished at how many corks I ended up needing! Crazeee! Cant wait to see the result-
