Well, it’s Friday. I made it through this crazy busy week (although I still have to make it to the end of today). Phew! I have put in some loooong hours this week, and I’m ready for a nap. Hopefully things will be a bit more normal around here starting next week. And I may not even do a Friday Wrapup this week just because I didn’t have time to post very much this past week. Hmmm…we’ll see.
But I did want to pop in this morning and show you something that I saw yesterday that brought a huge smile to my face. Have you ever heard of Happy Chair? I hadn’t until yesterday when I saw a link on Facebook. These chairs (and sofas) are created by Shawna Robinson, and they are unlike anything I’ve seen before. Here’s one of my favorites…
Don’t you love it?! I do. It’s like a big ‘ole shot of sunshine for your living room. I really want to make something like this. There are more to see on the Happy Chair website, and also the Happy Chair Facebook page.
Well, I’m headed out the door for one last crazy workday at John & Alice’s house. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and don’t forget to join us for the link party on Sunday! Get those projects ready, and come show us what you’ve been working on!

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
I hope you’ll join me on my DIY and decorating journey! If you want to follow my projects and progress, you can subscribe below and have each new post delivered to your email inbox. That way you’ll never miss a thing!

April 29, 2011 at 1:55 pmWow! I have never seen anything like this sofa. It is not particularly my style, but I really love the creativity of the designer. I love when their is a twist to a functional piece of furniture. Then it becomes a piece of art! Nice find, I would love to see your interpretation of this sofa.
