Winter Snowball Wreath GIVEAWAY!
**This giveaway is now closed.**
The winner of the snowball wreath is…
Congrats, Diane! Please contact me at [email protected] and let me know where to send your new wreath!
Remember my winter snowball wreath?
Well, it’s been sitting just inside my front door for a week now. It has been replaced with my new spring wreath, and I have no place to store it, so I’m giving it away!
Spring doesn’t officially start until March 20th, so you’ll still have just about a month to display the winter wreath, and hopefully you’ll have a place to store it until next year. If you’d like to enter to win, here are the details:
- Prize: One “snowball” wreath made by yours truly. (Disclaimer: It’s not actually made of snow. 😀 The wreath is made of Styrofoam, Epsom salt, Mod Podge, and hot glue. I’ll even throw in the chevron fabric hanger and bow.)
- To Enter: Simply leave a comment on this post. It’s that easy!
- Giveaway Closes: Friday, February 17th, 2012, at midnight CST
- Number Of Winners: One
- Prize Ships: Anywhere in the contiguous U.S. (So sorry, Hawaiians, Alaskans, and international readers! I wish I could afford to send it anywhere in the world! Please know that I greatly value you, too!!)
- The Fine Print: One entry per e-mail address, please! Winner will be selected via Random.org and announced on this post on the morning of Saturday, February 18, 2012.
Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
This is the cutest thing! I’m going to try to make one if I don’t win. Thank you for offering it!

Love this wreath. Will make one if I don’t win.
I am going to have to paint my front door for sure now because it wouldn’t show up to well on the white. Have been putting that off for way to long now.
I am such a big fan of your site. I was so thrilled when I found it. I go back each day and look at all the
cool stuff you do and wish I had the money to do those things. I love the wreath, but for financial reasons
I couldn’t afford to make one. I have been saving balls as I find them, and looking for different ways to
come up with it a little cost effective. I would be so proud to win it!! Display it with honor and of course
your website along with it!!
I love this wreath! I was planning to try and make one when you first posted about it!
Love it and would love to win it. Thanks for the giveaway!

Cuuuuute!!! Did you do a tutorial on how to make this wreath? I’m a new reader, so I may have missed it. Regardless…I’m pinning it so that I can give it a shot for next winter.
Thanks!!
Well of course I would love to win this!!!!!!!! Adorable! And since I live in Colorado, I can display this thru April and we’ll STILL behaving winter!!!!!

It’s a wonderful wreath, I just love it.

Love the wreath. Very classy looking. Any ideas for a spring wreath?
I’d love to have the snowball wreath….it would look terrific on my black, front door. (that’s hard to say)!
I love this wreath!
I would love it. We have snow here until May most years and have seen patches of snow in June so I could keep the wreath hanging for a long time!
I have the same problem. I have probably 30 wreaths and they are such a space-hog. I’m thinking of hanging a curtain rod from rope hooks in the ceiling to store them (throw some tarp or something over & pray not too many bugs/spiders/animals make a nest! LOL)
This wreath is the reason I started following your awesome blog. It was fun to read!
This wreAth is the reason I started following your blog!

Love this wreath! So cute!
I would love to win this as i hate snow and this would be close to having snow.
I want it …I hope I win!!
Very cute idea!!!! I just love your site;)
I think this would look great against mqy newly painted red door!
Love this wreath, and VERY much enjoy your ideas and your inspiration pictures. And think you did amazing work in all of the rooms you’ve redone. You seriously rock. And you do things until its right. Love it 🙂
Love it! Want it!
Love it!!! Maybe it will bring the snow we are hoping for up here in New England!
Love this wreath. It is classic and fun at the same time. This wreath may provide the most snow we get in Kansas City this year!
I would totally use this for more then winter decorations. I think an all year round door hanger is what my home needs. Add little this and that’s to it for Easter etc. then when winter comes around again a you wouldn’t have to repack it again and again and again.
Such a cute wreath! I would love to have it….and would FIND a place to store it! Sunny California NEEDS a few SnowBalls!
I didnt expect to win .but just got notice this morn.Just in time to see winner.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
I’m thrilled to win such a special wreath from such a talented lady!!
It arrived perfectly.
Blessings!!
So glad, Diane! I was afraid it might break in transit. If you take it out to use next winter, and the Epsom salt has lost it’s luster, you might try a can of iridescent spray glitter to add some shine. 🙂 Enjoy!
I love the idea of the iridescent spray glitter (I’ve never seen this before…brand?) as I actually have a snowball garland that I purchased several years ago and it has a sort of iridescent fuzziness to it. Yes…this wreath is soo me! Yay!
Thanks again!
Fabulous look. I think I can do this.
Such great ideas – you’re a real inspiration! I love finding new ways to recycle materials.
Thanks!
