Addicts (not so) Anonymous Link Party

Hey everyone! It’s that time again! Yep…Friday. Yep…link party. Yep…the weekend is almost here.

Have you ever done a project thinking that it was more of a silly little time-filler, and instead, it turns out to be quite a popular project? That’s exactly what happened to me this week with my Upcycled Magazine Page Wreath.

As a DIY blogger, sometimes it’s really hard to gauge how a project will be received.  Some things that I think are going to be hugely popular turn out to be duds, while other projects that I think are just time-fillers turn out to be very well-received.  LOL…blogging is an interesting thing, indeed.  I was even asked if I would make these and sell them!  Ha!  I wish I had time!  So thank you to all of you who commented on and pinned my wreath.

So let’s get on with the party, shall we?!

Just a special reminder…Please (see how nicely I’m asking?), please link back to A2D if you’re going to link your project to this link party. I don’t care if it’s a button or text. I’m really not picky. Just pretty please.

A few reminders:

  1. Link only things that you have done yourself…DIY projects, room makeovers, recipes, etc.;
  2. Please link projects that are new to A2D (repeats will be deleted);
  3. Link to a specific post (permalink), not to your general blog URL;
  4. Be aware that by linking your project to this party, you grant me permission to feature your project on other areas of the A2D site, including but not limited to the Inspiration Files gallery. I may also use your photo on the A2D Facebook Page;
  5. Grab a button and add it to your post (or your sidebar, or wherever…or just add a text link to A2D);
  6. Be sure to visit others and leave comments!!
Psstt…Unsure how to link up? Click here to see step-by-step instructions.

  1. Thanks for hosting Kristi! That wreath is beautiful and yes, I completely know what you mean about not being able to gauge the blog world sometimes. It amazes me what projects really take off and which ones go unnoticed, and I’m especially surprised by the projects that really take off on Pinterest! But I have to say, your wreath is receiving some well deserved attention!

  2. I love your wreath! And I SO get not being able to gauge the blog world too! Some of my projects that I loved didn’t really get received well, but others that were quick and not thought out were pinned like crazy! Weird!
    Also, just wanted to let you know that I really agreed with your take and comment on the discussion over at IC. Loved it!

  3. Your wreath is gorgeous, Kristi! I hadn’t seen it until today. Somehow I missed that post, off to check it out now. Thanks for hosting!

  4. Love reading about all you do, Kristi! You seem to have unending energy and imagination! One thing just boggles my mind, though. What on earth do you need time fillers for? Is there actually time in your day you do not have filled? 🙂 If so- I need to know your secret ! 🙂

  5. Nothing to share this week, up to my eyeballs in almost finished projects . I am really enjoying all your features though! Love your magazine wreath. I completely agree, sometimes I am blown away at the things that just take off and make the rounds around the blogosphere that I was particularly taken with myself! Some things that I poured my heart and soul into can just be lukewarm to others. Blogging is such an interesting animal. Someone should write a book on the psychology of blogging, especially us DIYer’s/Crafter/Redouxers!
